93% of investors have approved a one-time Rs 1,950 crore settlement in the NSEL scam, marking a major step toward closure of the decade-old Rs 5,600 crore fraud. The payout, 42% lower than the due amount, will be overseen by an escrow agent to ensure transparency and proportional disbursement.
