Each Supreme Court bench will hear 10 bail and 10 transfer pleas daily: CJI

The CJI said a decision to this effect was taken in a recently held full court meeting. The bail pleas will be given priority by the SC benches since these are matters of "personal liberty". In essence, 13 benches will decide 130 cases per day and 650 cases per week. Over 13,000 transfer cases are currently pending in the Supreme Court.
