New National Logistics Policy aims to cut costs

Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman had mentioned the policy in her 2020 budget speech, saying it would seek to increase efficiency and lower India's logistics costs. Key elements of the policy include the Unified Logistics interface Platform (ULIP), Ease of Logistics (ELOG) and System Improvement Group (SIG).
