Attempt to interfere with administration of Justice: AG Venugopal writes to SC

When the wakf case came up for hearing on Tuesday, a bench headed by Chief Justice of India NV Ramana took strong exception to the treatment meted out to the AG. The CJI verbally remarked that he was "disturbed" after reading the AG's letter. Addressing the counsel for the wakf board, the CJI said: "Is this the way you behave with the attorney general? This has never happened before."
