Republicans say Biden responsible for soaring gas prices, not Putin

Republicans have come out hard on President Joe Biden over rising US gas prices. They say that the gas prices started to soar before the Russia-Ukraine crisis, and Biden is using Russian President Vladimir Putin as a scapegoat in this matter. However, critics of the Republican party have termed this as political opportunism.
