Goa Election Result 2022 LIVE: The fate of 332 candidates will be decided shortly as the counting of votes for the Goa assembly elections will begin from 8 am onwards. The outcome will decide whether the BJP returns to power for the third consecutive term. Counting in all the districts will begin at 8 am. The postal ballots will be counted first, and then the votes polled in the EVMs will be counted.Almost all the exit polls have predicted a hung Assembly.Due to the entry of AAP, TMC and Shiv Sena, the contest for this small state has become multipolar this year.Newcomers AAP and Trinamool Congress (TMC) may become kingmakers in the state.Congress and BJP are also trying to woo the MGP, Goa's oldest regional party which has ruled the state in the past, to make up for any shortfall.In the 2017 elections, the Congress had emerged as the single-largest party but the BJP quickly managed to stitch a coalition with regional allies.
