Incidentally, MG Motor is operating at 60-70% of potential capacity currently due to the shortage of semiconductors. While the supply of the chips is expected to improve in the first quarter of 2022, it may take up to a year for the situation to completely normalise, Rajeev Chaba, president of MG Motor India, told ET.
