Government targets full switch over of urban freight vehicles to EVs

In an exclusive interaction, Niti Aayog chief executive officer Amitabh Kant told ET, “India is at the cusp of a mobility revolution which will be shared, connected, green and the delivery sector must be the leader in this. Once they succeed, other (market segments) will follow,” adding that in the next two years, all urban delivery vehicles must go completely green.
