Domestic mutual fund holdings surpass FPIs for the first time

Assets under custody (AUC) of domestic mutual funds in India surged to ₹76.41 lakh crore in June 2026, officially surpassing total foreign portfolio investor (FPI) holdings of ₹76.22 lakh crore for the first time.
