Guv withdraws order to convene Punjab house special session

A day before the special session had to be convened, Purohit on Wednesday withdrew his order to convene a special session. The Raj Bhawan cited absence of specific rules on summoning the Assembly for considering only a confidence motion. In a fresh order issued, Purohit said the earlier order stands withdrawn in the absence of specific rules regarding summoning of the assembly for considering the confidence motion that was called by the Punjab government.
