CBI searches Sisodia's bank locker; Delhi's deputy CM says 'have got clean chit'

Searches were carried out at Sisodia's residence and 30 locations in Delhi, Gurugram, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Lucknow and Bengaluru. The agency had said that look out circulars had been issued against eight private individuals and entities allegedly involved in the case. The agency has already commenced questioning of the accused in the case. Sisodia has denied all the accusations. CBI has alleged that irregularities were committed including in modifications of excise policy, extending undue favours to the licencees, waiver/reduction in licence fee, extension of L-1 license without approval etc.
