Maharashtra crisis news LIVE: All eyes on Eknath Shinde's next move, BJP prefers to 'wait and watch' - The Economic Times

Maharashtra political crisis LIVE: The crisis in the Maharashtra ruling coalition has reached an interesting juncture with the Supreme Court's orders yesterday. The apex court kept on hold the disqualification proceedings against the rebel Shiv Sena MLAs till July 11. A vacation bench of Justices Surya Kant and J B Pardiwala also refused to pass any interim order that in the meantime there should not be any floor test in the Assembly. This gives the Eknath Shinde camp leeway in their move to dethrone the MVA government. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on divested nine ministers who have jumped ship of their portfolios.
