Govt seeks parliament nod for Rs 3 lakh crore extra spending
The additional amount will largely go towards providing fertiliser subsidy, clearing debt and dues of Air India under the privatisation scheme, the allocation for four more months of free ration under the Covid scheme, and clearing export subsidy dues.
