Vedanta shares fall 10% post demerger announcement

Vedanta Ltd's shares dipped more than 10% to Rs 302.35 apiece on the BSE on Thursday before closing at Rs 309.60, down 8.5% from previous closing, post the company's announcement to demerge its aluminium, iron and steel, and oil and gas businesses.
