Hopeful of quick telecom relief so that India continues to have three private players: Gopal Vittal

Speaking a day after Airtel reported a nearly 63% fall in its net profit for the quarter ended June sequentially at ₹284 crore, the Airtel CEO said the firm is “open to stake monetisation opportunities” in Airtel Payments Bank (APB), which is now a near ₹1,000 crore company. Airtel owns 80% of APB while the balance 20% is owned by Kotak Mahindra Bank.
