Adi Godrej to leave Godrej Consumers board in Sept

Although the 79-year old patriarch of the Godrej Group is the non-executive chairman of the board of Godrej Industries, which is the holding company, he has gradually moved away from daily functioning of individual firms. Godrej had in 2017 stepped down from the board of Godrej Properties as well, while at Godrej Agrovet, the board is chaired by his younger brother Nadir Godrej.
